Dollar General has been running sales on 12packs of 8oz cans for $4.95. That's around $.05/oz plus the small cans don't have time to get warm while drinking.

I would make a call to any of the stores in Denham springs. I'm pretty sure mockler beverage stops at the parish line and champagne distributors picks up livingston parish. In my experience they were a couple bucks a case cheaper. Not sure if that is still the case but worth a shot.

the beer isn't cold until it's put into the stores cooler. From the brewery to the distributor to the store, it's hot the entire time until it's on the stores shelf. Otherwise the cases would fall apart

Used to get Rolling Rock for about $7 per 12 pack at wal mart a few years ago. Haven't looked at the price recently though.

This isn't a suggestion, but since we are talking cheapest bulk beer....
A stupid buddy of mine bought this bulk pack of beer from costco, can't remember the name (came in a grayish can), but he got like 50 of them for $20 and they were without a doubt the worst beer I have and will ever taste in my life. If beer is that cheap nowadays, dont drink it. (And i like light beer for the record)

Flats of natty light (48) were $15 at am mart back in the day.

Since when did a flat consist of 48 beers? The AM Mart had flats (24) of Natty Light Tall Boys for $10.99 when I lived in BR.
