I have a right to hire ESL workers for my business because they actually show up and do their job and save me money.

You have a right to take your business elsewhere if you don't want to talk to my ESL workers.

You don't have a right to make me cater to your preferences when you chose to do business with me.

Go your separate ways. Problem solved.

I've never had a problem with Chase, but frick them for doing that. That is unacceptable. After 40+ years with them and they drop you just like that? Complete bull shite.

As long as they give me check for all of my money to go elsewhere I would be ok with it. If they try t o hold on to my money I would have a lawyer ASAP.

As long as it doesn't look like you're intentionally trying to keep your deposits at or below $10K/day, I doubt they'll say anything.

If it looks like you're intentionally trying to avoid a CTR, they'll shut your account down so fast it'll make your head spin.

This is why the progs are pushing to end cash as payments, and social credit scores, etc. They want to be able to control you and your behavior where it hurts you the worst, your finances. You don't toe the line, you get blackballed by the entire banking system. This is already going on in UK as Nigel Farage, the UK leader of Brexit, has said that every bank in the UK has said they won't do business with him.

That’s a sh*tty company who does that. Providing incompetent customer service. We are Americans and deserve to speak to CS who can understand us and comprehend our communication, and not read from scripts bc they don’t truly understand. I’ll hang up on them. It’s bad enough we have to “press 1” for English. Dump me, I don’t care. Credit Unions are the way to go, anyway.

We are speculating on how the request for native English speakers part of the call went.

Someone should open a call center in rural South Carolina for "native English speaker" requests. You will be beging to get transfered to the Philippines in a hurry.

ETA: I am not the biggest fan of off shoring. It is useful to have 24 hour service but a lot of execs do it because everyone else is doing it and never know / care how horrible the service is.

Op is not telling the whole story. We’ll find out sooner than later. Post history indicates a lot. Chase hasn’t been in Louisiana for 40 years. Much less houma. They won’t cancel your account unless you are a particular type of a-hole. They won’t call you to cancel your account for a missed payment. All those accounts are linked to an email. No reminders were sent for a missed payment. Op won’t tell us what really happened. Hope he comes back after he meets with them and tells us what happened

A business has the right to refuse service for anyone and for any reason.

We are all assuming he told the entire story for what it was. For all we know, he could have went on a violent and racist rampage against the customer service reps. To me, that is validation to stop conducting business with someone.

Unfortunately, you are a drop in the bucket to Chase. I will continue to bank with them until I have a problem. Ive been with them for 20 years and have had nothing but pleasant experiences with them.
