The moral outrage is hilarious - oh they crossed the line this time?
You can't believe they are so inaccurate about Houston demographics with this - but their other stuff is both very offensive while also being highly accurate depictions of whatever the subject is?
If you think this is dumb, which it is, most all of their prior stuff is just as dumb and I don't understand why it's a big deal now.

is there an article accompanying this cover? i'd be interested in reading the content.
the title says "god exists he drowned all the neo-nazi's of texas." strange.

Not surprising.
If only LNCHBOX could find a way to more often use his powers for good.

My comment wasn't exclusively directed at this in particular; but going off of a stereotype that is contrary to fact is not journalism, it's ignorance

I wonder how many Texas boys laid down their lives on French soil to get rid of the Nazis and their Viche French collaborators.
It takes some balls to throw rocks like that.

Do they even research. Houston supposedly has one of the highest minority population with blacks, indians, spanish.

Would've bee funnier and more relevant had it been a couple clan hats and confederate statues sticking out of the water.. the nazi theme just doesn't jive.

I said this earlier regarding the Charlie Hebdo stuff and I think it's the most objective way to view this.
This is what Charlie Hebdo is. They create provocative political cartoons. Their goal is to create controversy and rustle jimmies.

No, there's a good bit of left leaning Europeans who view all of Texas (and most America that isnt east or west coast) as a some stereotypical cowboy. This didnt even make sense from any satirical standpoint.

Its a satirical cartoon, not hard hitting journalism

I agree this cover was poorly research and isn't really clever, just to repeat that.
Getting upset over a cartoon whose main goal is to upset you, is playing into their hands.

I don't feel that many, at least in this thread, are all that upset.
Saying something like this is ironic, uninformed, etc doesn't equal offended to me though.

Not really. It takes some balls to say it to someone's face. Not as much to hide behind the curtain and do it.

There sure is a lot of Charlie hebdo talk today - I'd imagine cause some people got their feathers ruffled

SO just talking about something means it's offensive now? That's a confusing metric.
