His phone records immediately following this crash in the time that led up to his contact could be very interesting as well.

Who knew what, when did they know it, and what actions did they take.

When you hurt a kid, the gloves come off. No sympathy for the fall out from his actions.

Just a thought for our good friends in green jeans listening.

I'll allow it. I will provide transportation for either of you if there are actual punches thrown. I get to provide video evidence to the board.

Going to False River on a Tuesday when school is starting back up is a real slow down on the river to say the least. It’s amazing these boats even got this close.

Am I the only one reading this thinking the ada wasn’t at fault.

Guy pulling children turn directly behind boat.

Why’s the guy getting all the hate?

All 3 of those kids come from an incredible family. Dad posted on Facebook of how lucky and thankful that the kids were alive as the accident looked brutal when it occurred. Just crappy situation all around.

Dad was a high school classmate of mine. Very tough situation, but sounds like everything will be OK.

I was thinking that too. All the talk is about whether he was drinking and that he left the scene. Was he at fault in the first place? Newspapers get details wrong all the time so we do t even know if what the news is describing is even an accurate portrayal.

nope, I thought that it'd be strange the ada's boat would be at fault. But the article said that he pulled behind the boat pulling the kids and hit them, so who knows.

If the story is correct (two boats side by side and he turns, hitting the tube behind the other boat) then he’s probably at fault. If you’re driving within a ski rope’s length of another boat, you really ought to have the awareness to see that the other boat is pulling a tube.

But there could could certainly be other important details that we are missing. If the other boat pulled up beside him and boxed him in, I can see how he might not have seen the tube.

There’s really no excuse for two boats pulling tubes to be that close to each other. Especially on False River, which is like a half mile wide.

ETA: Not on a Tuesday, apparently.

And furthermore how the F do you hit some kids on a tube?

We go to the lake damn near every weekend and do the same shite and I’ve never come close to hitting anyone with my party barge

I was on the river Sunday afternoon, where did this happen? I saw an ambulance with lights on and wildlife and fisheries vehicle headed west after I pulled out of the La express landing about 5 Sunday evening. Figured something was up but the neither the ambulance or WLF appeared to be in hurry

Prayers these kids recover

that is always a thought when I am pulling my kids, is someone not paying attention or having too many drinks!
