You need to find more important stuff to care about than how a company markets itself.

Sometimes I think the OT has the most ignorant posters per capita than any other message board on the web.

ignorant

I see this word thrown around a lot. You know, it's possible for two people to be aware of the exact same set of facts and come to different conclusions.

Aside from the numerous trolls, I'm pretty sure there were at least 3 or 4 posters in the weed OD thread that truly believed that the LaPlace coroner may have legitimately found the first ever case.

I weep for this state.

trans have mental illnesses, their brains are signaling to them they are dudes even though they are stuck in womens bodies and vice versa. THEY CANT HELP IT

as such, they opt to take hormones to "feel" normal, etc

this was honestly the most innocent gillette commercial ive seen covering the sjw bulshit - the fact that it triggers you says so much about your lack of intelligence

This is the first company boycott I really participated in as well.

Gilette is a Proctor and Gamble company that is who is funding the attack.

If I think I am a horse, should you nail horseshoes to my feet and put a saddle on me, or get me mental help?

In bw the post I replied to and the 1st post I made on thread, there's comment after comment from those who are taken aback by those who don't celebrate the trans movement and calling them snowflakes, bigots. etc.

They, in fact, are the bigots. It is they who won't let others live because it is they (and those like them) who pass laws, penalize and publicly flog others who disagree with highly subjective belief systems; therefore making them the real slavedrivers. They are ignorant to the facts: They have no idea that they are spitting in the face of the laws of logic that are just as binding to our every day functioning as the laws of gravity.

You're being naive in your assumption; because this goes much deeper than a simple ad from a subsidiary company of whom has championed its success off of the backs (and wallets) of male masculinity, and who's now jumping in (hell, doubling down) on a societal narrative that you're willingly failing to recognize, and one that Gillette knows damned well is adding fuel to the fire of discourse in society. The real question is, "Why?" "What good does it do; what difference does it make?"

Tell me? In the here and now, what difference does this- this ad- make in the furtherance of a good and civil society? It doesn't, it only stokes the flames, and that is what the OP was saying and what the bigots fail to see in their blind rage.

Gillette is celebrating a narrative that is a part of the one attempting to tear down men and our "overblown" role in society. The "OG of men's razor companies" who proudly supplied us with the tooling to shave our manly beards, is now a part of the faction who's attempting to strip we and our sons of our male/masculine pride and masculine identity via an oppressive and knowingly- destructive worldview. It's jarring, it's weak, and it's a chickenshhit way to be- it's everything that true masculinity is not- and I want no part of it.

We are not calling for the burning at the stake of every Gillette executive; we are simply, quietly choosing to not buy a product from a company that's spreading the rampant discourse in society, and who has stabbed us in the back. For the bigots though, that's a problem, and since that is the case then again I ask, "Who here is practicing 'live and let live?'"

We, according to the bigots, should submit to this trans teen and her/their worldview and leave behind the one that got us here: men are men, and women are women and we depend on each other for survival and procreation. If we don't set that TRUTH on fire, then WE are the bigots and there should/will be legal ramifications for us. If we don't support this narrative like we do, say, free speach and the built in right to address (speak to) others with their assigned-at-birth gender, then we will be forced to do it with unconstitutional, spineless laws that penalize us for practicing our true rights. One is not like the other.

Who's attempting to oppress who?

It's about one group not "practicing what they preach" in being tolerant of others and their point of view, and it goes much deeper than a damned ad, and you know it: Sure, if there were not a much larger message in the undertones of this ad then we would certainly be bigots because we disagree with the "beauty" of a girl who has to shave her ugly, artificial and nasty looking neckbeard, but coupled with the fact that the shaving part is only a cheap "out" to spread the "enlightened" one's worldview with the fact that shaving is anything but beautiful and worth being ecstatic over means that we are in the right to call this out for what it is: bullchit.

Furthermore, none of the aforementioned posts calling out others as snowflakes are realizing that they're breaking a foundational law of logic when they call dissenters of this ad and its underlying message bigots.

They are fools because the following is not their logic: If "A" is "B" then "B" is "A": It cannot be raining outside and not raining outside: If I'm a bigot for not celebrating women with neckbeards, then so too are those who disagree with my belief. You cannot call me close-minded if I disagree with a destructive, unnatural worldview, while you yourself are NOT, simply because your worldview is "better".

There is no in between: Either we're all bigots, and therefore we must let society fall into a state of entropy, or we must settle on a set of universal truths and principles. The truth is the truth, and truth is, women (and men) shouldn't have "Dirty Sanchez" neckbeards, and if they do, we shouldn't be spending millions on ads to celebrate it.

If we do, then again I ask, "Why?"

The problem is that a small few are setting the narratives and spineless, wreckless & destructive principles for society, and those principles are that there ARE no principles other than theirs, and if you believe otherwise, YOU are the bigot and should be fined, jailed and lose your job for it. History will show that they, the real bigots, are just that, and no man or woman (neckbeard or not) can run from what history seeks to do: To find the truth, and bring it into the open and to learn from it. History will show that Gillette is foolish, and so are the bigots who think I'm wrong for not giving pomp and circumstance to something so obviously and ideologically idiotic as natural born teenage girls shaving their filthy looking mustaches.

So who are the bigots, really?
