Nope, I love going to the beaches near Tampa. Hell, I enjoy going to the beaches down near Corpus Christi as well. Beaches near Galveston do suck though.

I’m ok with all of it until I have to leave and everything I have and every part of my body has sand on it. That part is annoying.
