I think you mean "right to work," and no, no it does not depend on that. Right to work is related to union membership. Employment at will is related to ability to fire someone for any reason, unless of course, that reason is illegal, such as racial discrimination.

Why do so many mix those things up? It really isn't that difficult, right to work simply means you don't have to join a union to take a job if the employees have a union, NOTHING else.

And the irony of a conservative person now wanting to sue b/c they were fired is lost on no one.

Also, we know the OP is the racist who was fired.

She has a better chance if they tell any future employer of hers about what happened

I've had a lot of success with the cases I've represented in court. I'm in Louisiana though, not sure what state you're in

Post more details about what happened if you can

What was the exact reason given to your friend for termination?

Further proof that old women don't know how to use social media.... Never ever post anything controversial on social media if you value your professional career.

someone I know was fired after an sjw started a fb witch hunt accusing her of being racist (she has a mixed child) and calling for her job

does she have a shot or are these a joke?
What exactly was she told about the reason she was being fired?

This gives merit to your friends employer having cause to fire her. Whether she truly is racist or meant it in a racial manner or not is irrelevant. She did in fact post something to facebook that contained a racial slur, and whether you agree with it or not, that is just not acceptable in this day and age.

I would be willing to wager that the vast majority of employers would terminate her in this situation. It reflects poorly on the business.

My ex was HR and they fired for less then that. Pretty large company too.

No idea why your friend thought it would be funny to post something like that in public space. If she needs social media to rant about things, you should of told her to make a TD account.

It says employees are not to make inappropriate comments on social media when the place of employment is identified

You can list the company you work for on your facebook page and display it.
