Chances of Halloween being moved to Friday in the Baton Rouge area

The forecast calls for rain Saturday between 60% and 80%. It'll probably be like last Saturday.
I'm not buying any candy to give out if it's Saturday. I'm pretty sure it was moved before.

You can't fricking move Halloween.
It's a date on the calendar. That would be like moving Christmas.
If it rains, get wet or stay home.
Why do we feel the need to accommodate everyone these days?

I usually spend about $80 on candy to give out. If it rains all day, I dont want to waste or have to eat $80 worth of candy.
I'm pretty sure kids are bused into my subdivision because I run out of candy every year even after spending about $80.

I wish they would move it, but I doubt they do.
It poured two years ago and they didn't change it in BR. We walked with the kids and they got tons of candy from the people who were giving it out--like handfuls at every stop. The kids stayed dry under the umbrellas except for their feet & legs; I got soaked trying to protect their costumes. I'm planning on clear ponchos over costumes this year.

This is true. But when I drive in and out of my neighborhood, I never see a majority of the kids that come to my house. I buy candy based on the number of kids I see during the year.

I'm carding parents this year. If they don't live on my street, the frickin kid doesn't get any candy.

Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday not a Calendar number date. Same with Easter. So GTFO
Although I think Halloween should be on the last Saturday in October every year. frick having halloween on school nights for kids.
