I'm not gonna card people. But I will a pile for what looks to be residents of my hood, and people bussed in from Baton Rouge or other DFL zones.

They don't have to really cancel it, you just have to convince your kid they did. If you can't trick a child into believing a holiday was cancelled then you're a pretty shitty parent.

My HOA changed it too. I don't mind but I thought we should wait it out another day or 2 to make sure the forecast doesnt change. It's currently @100% on Saturday.

The snooty bitches of the neighborhood posed the question on FB & 5 hours later they said "it's official, Halloween on Friday"
Ain't that some shite?

They move it because Halloween is for kids who can't or won't trick or treat in the rain. You probably don't have kids..

Nope, that was 2 years ago. Last year was nice weather and Elsa dress was safe. Year before was a handmade paper unicorn horn that was in danger of falling apart if it got too wet.

You CAN fricking move Halloween.

FIFY

Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday not a Calendar number date. Same with Easter. So GTFO

Although I think Halloween should be on the last Saturday in October every year. frick having halloween on school nights for kids.

No numbnuts...you can't. It's All Hallow's Eve. It's a set date in the calendar because of things far beyond the control of man. You can't just up and move Samhain in order to make your damn HOA happy.

Move trick or treating if you like...but Halloween must remain.

cell phone cams have made going to hooters for halloween a once in a year experience of a lifetime.
