White guy wearing white tux should have been thrown out too. Guy looks like he's naked!

At my private high school we weren’t allowed to have dances and the cheerleaders’ outfits looked like they were from “Hoosiers” but none of our parents bitched to the news. It’s a private school. If you don’t like their rules don’t go to their functions.

Again, she broke no rule.

Its these strict rules that attempt to bottle up teenage libido that lead to Becky blowing the entire football team behind the dumpster and Wanisha being 7 months pregnant as she walks in her graduation.
So, the lax rules of public schools prevent this from happening and keeps younguns from having sex and children?

Did you ever get paddled by the principal with the paddle with the big arse confederate flag carved into it? You'd get sent to get the stars and bars tattooed on your arse for acting up Different times baw.

No. I never got in trouble. All the teachers had paddles when I started there and most had the rebel flag. One had LSU engraved on hers.

No, it almost like there's a middle ground.

Bring back the Rebel Flag Cheer leading outfits at Central Private.

We had to go to school at CP on MLK day until 2003

I got paddled as a senior sometime between 2000-2009

I can't say the same for me. Yeah we used to get spanked by the teachers in front of the class in elementary school

public education never misses an opportunity to make itself look exceptionally stupid ...

edit: eh, not public, but the pt is still valid ... education in general fails to miss an opportunity ... maybe the mom did talk to the wrong person and got the wrong information ... you make a decision at the door - "yeah, that's ok - go on in and have a great time" ...

I’m not a fan of the overall rule. However, mesh is not the same as solid fabric. Most mesh is see through and you can clearly see skin. There is no mesh I’ve ever seen that does not expose skin.

Is the big deal over the side part? WTF?

That was explained in the article that was linked in the OP.

What does this even mean? Does the guidelines even address this? And why are Christians not able to wear a dress like that?

She covered the midsection cutoffs with flesh colored mesh. Flesh coloring is not actual flesh

The holes in mesh are not actually covering the skin. This is going against the contract she was forced to sign.

The school says they forced her to sign a contract but were unable to produce a copy.

Her mother called and spoke to the lunch lady, or some other uninvolved cretin, and was told that Little Pookie could do as she pleased. She came be-bopping up with some mesh panels showing her kidney and side area and the gates of hell opened and took 40 sinners away.

It was horrible.

Not if the mesh had holes in it, like mesh. This allows some skin on her side and back, but not her backside, to be seen.

Lucky they kept her out. All those young fellers were protected from the horror of seeing .001% of what they would have seen on any beach.

It was close, but disaster averted. The children, Baw! We have to think about the children.

The humanity and whatnot.

Possibly. But I went to a school that would do shite like this.

In my experience it's highly likely the school faculty freaked out over nothing.
