How many single white mothers with other race baby daddies?
That seems to be popular in the Gonzales/Donaldsonville area.

i'm strongly willing to bet that is not broken down by proportions of race.
meant with no offense to single mothers of any creed.

How many of those single white mothers are divorced?
You know they love calling themselves a single mother even though there’s a father still in the kids life.
Being a single mother is a new victim identity. They’re worse than vegetarians letting you know.

That's an interesting stat, but it seems a bit cherry-picked.
Living arrangements of children by race.
So roughly 25% of white children and roughly 60% of black children live in single-parent homes. How can there be so many single white mothers yet the vast majority of white children are in two-parent homes (assuming both parents are white)?

Q: How do the living arrangements of children vary by race?
A: In 2022, the majority of white children and Hispanic children lived in two-parent homes (75.6% and 67.5% respectively), compared with four in ten (43.0%) Black children.

I mean whites make about 60% of the country. Makes sense about 60% of single moms would be white but for non Hispanic white, it's probably closer to 50 or 45. Probably closer to 40% if it's just white women who pro created with white men.

The sad reality is that a large portion of children, regardless of race, are being absolutely screwed out of a good, secure childhood with a loving family. A single parent household is lesser than a two parent household. That fact should not be disputed. And every kid deserves the chance at growing up in a loving household with two parents for support. America’s culture of out of wedlock children is disgusting and needs to be curbed

quote:Probably not the majority but it definitely pumps the numbers. Every white woman I know that had mixed kids is a single mom. I read somewhere that like 75% of mixed kids where the dad was black were illegitimate. Whereas it was only 25 or 35 when the dad was white, asian, or hispanic.

For non-Hispanic whites, the percentage of out-of-wedlock births is 21.9 percent2, or 29 percent
For Hispanics, the percentage of out-of-wedlock births is 41.6 percent2, or 53 percent
For non-Hispanic blacks, the percentage of out-of-wedlock births is 69.3 percent2, or 71 percent
For American Indians, the percentage of out-of-wedlock births is 59.3 percent
Add in Asians and you will essentially explain the socioeconomic outcomes for each of these races with one statistic.
There are two things that matter in the success of kids and ultimately adults:
1) Two parent household
2) Education (valuing it, getting it)
It's legit that simple.

Well, that's because they stay together for free donut shop and dry cleaning labor. Otherwise, the single asian moms would have to learn how to do nails.

They're categorized as an ethnic group, not by race.

Somebody is cherry picking
From 1995 to 2018, single mother prevalence remained highest among Black children, followed by Latino children, and then by White children. The mean prevalences in the 1995 to 2018 pooled sample are as follows: Black, 45.2 % Latino, 21.8 % and White, 13.6 percent (see Table 2).
