Changed from ATT (worst company in the history of the world) to Spectrum mobile 4 years ago. 2 phones, unlimited on the Verizon towers for $90 a month. That’s tax included

I have not had a single issue since that day. Extremely happy.

frick ATT right to hell

Visible is great. Until you need to make a change.

Wife gets a Att hotspot from her city job that we use wifi calling on when hitting the verizon spotty coverage areas.

Visible I pay $35 a month.

I spent two months on a road trip in the NW and SW and it worked great.

What do you use? AT&T bricks for me during hurricanes or even power outages and my daughter on Verizon has no issues.

Switched from ATT to Visible 6 months ago with no complaints except one. You can only contact customer service by chat, X, or Facebook Messenger. You can't call and speak to an agent.

Consumer Cellular for about 12 years now. I love it.

Unlimited is cheap. Great service. If you get the phones online you can clearly see what you are paying. Samsung Galaxy is a good phone. I ditched iphones years ago.

You can still do facetime video calling.

When I lived in destin.. during the busy seasons, every cellphone company I used sucked - Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T. A friend of mine told me to go get straight talk from Walmart and I laughed

I bit the bullet to try it out and I have not turned back ever since. It’s the best phone coverage I have ever used - even in Atlanta and whenever I travel and it’s $35/month unlimited everything

Mint Mobile unlimited everything has been solid for me so far. I’m in an isolated area most of the time too and it has been fine. A few areas with bad connection but that would be the same with Verizon/AT&T there.

I just switched to spectrum, from AT&T, and they use Verizon towers and my connection isn’t as good as AT&T.

My only drawback is that you have to buy your own phone. Some people like the monthly option

I’ve been considering this lately. 7 lines with ATT (us, 2 kids, 2 parents and MIL) is $280/month with ATT. Then I realized that all of our ‘free’ phones would cost almost $2600 in lost rebates if we switched. I might move the kids/parents to Consumer Cellular in a few months when their phones are paid for and use them as a trial run so we can see the difference in service

I moved to spectrum and they gave me 2500 dollars to buy out my remaining phone balances. I had 1700 dollars in lost credit but still came out ahead had I stayed with AT&T for the full term. I am not a fan of how they keep you locked in by extending your credits over the 36 months. If you just want to pay off your phones, you lose your credits. It’s like being in Jail.

Yep- I hadn’t really put a whole lot of though into it before I started looking at switching, and they really have you by the balls

This thread is awesome.

Who knew that 50+ OT Ballers were all rocking the prepaid cell phone on the down low.

More disposable income for lip pillows and crawfish.
