I know you are all ballers and have the best plan for your cell, but have any of you tried Mint Mobile before?
If so, pros/cons?

I can’t imagine not having enough status for a free work phone

Cricket wireless is the tits!!! $100 total, unlimited for four phones. When others can’t open an email, I’m streaming a movie.

IN the city.
You get 20 miles out of the city and you'll have about as much cell phone reception as you would have had in 1975.

I have ATT Unlimited. Used AARP discount. Pay $167 a month with 2 device fees.
Just for some perspective.

Boost. Haven’t had any problems.

Yeah, I used to have that. Then I found out there was no expectation of privacy and ditched it. Their prerogative since they were paying of course.
I do keep it as my primary phone when I was traveling internationally. They made some kind of switch and they ate that ridiculous cost to have me "available". That was helpful.

I've had PureTalk for 6 months. No complaints. I think it's like $55/month unlimited everything except hot spot.

Mint Mobile
I switched to Mint after having AT&T for many years. We were paying $120+ per month for two phones sharing only 2GB of data. I tell everyone, if I stayed at home 24/7, Mint would be perfect. However, that isn't the case. I did a 3 month trial and it works great at home and my job. The 20 minute drive to work, there is a 5 mile dead spot. And when I say dead spot, there is NO service. My wife's grandmother lives three miles down from us, no service there. No service at my wife's OBGYN and we went to Orlando a few weeks ago and service dropped at least 25 times during the trip there.
Too many dead spots for me. It isn't a phone issue either because my wife has an iPhone 13 that has all the bands Mint suggested and has the same issues I had.
We ended up switching to AT&T Prepaid. Paying $50/month for two phones with 5GB of data per phone w/rollover. We don't use much cellular data so that's good enough for us. No issues since switching back.

I got ATT platinum plus silver tungsten, or whatever the hell the call that plan. Whatever one is their all inclusive one now. Company reimburses my phone and I tack the wife and kids on for the add on price.
