I know they have a separate service to meet censorship demands of its home country China, but even if TikTok servers located outside of China the communist govt has already shown its ability to control Bytedance.
The company has ties to Communistic leadership in Beijing if only to survive, but has made it a point to hire more party members after threats by China's govt and has been known to censor video's unfavorable to China & its human rights abuses. It seems like a company that both the "woke" crowd and patriotic Americans would both be on same page about not supporting.
