In May, I signed an executive order prohibiting mask mandates by gov't entities.

I agree and have a 7 year old in Montgomery County.
We have stressed to her that she will never make fun or allow bullying of her classmates that choose to wear a mask this year. Treat them kind & physically protect them if she has to, like we teach her about all forms of bullying.
She also knows as a family, we don't wear them , we won't, and sadly we had to introduce the idea it's bad people trying to control us. We agreed she was old enough to see & hear that from us.

Coweta County school board sent out an email today saying masks for students and teachers were optional.
