There was a time, not so long ago, when obviously mentally disturbed people were institutionalized whether they wanted it or not. People who were clearly a danger to themselves and others. But we can't do that anymore in this country because it's not nice. We're supposed to treat them as if they're just as normal as anyone else while they wander the streets talking to themselves, defecate and urinate on subway cars, sleep under interstate overpasses, etc.

Had this happened at my kids soccer practice, i feel fairly confident myself as well as other men, would have just tackled the dumbass and beat his arse.

Kids soccer practice. If they're letting their kids play soccer they're probably not the type.
And to be honest, my kids first soccer game is tomorrow, but I do carry early and often. Clearly I'm an outlier.
