The Catholic Church is filled with hypocricy. It is less about being in a community and more like being a member of a country club

Valid point. Kind of like #metoo accusers who didn’t say anything until there was a payday on play.

I mean, why stop at 55? It just seems arbitrary.

I thought it's against Jesus to judge people?

Neither are those rape settlements. Everybody that donates to the Catholic Church is financially supporting child molestation.

We abhor abortion but by Pope John Paul, don't speak about pedophiles.

If you still belong and contribute to the Catholic Church today, then you are just as equal a pedophile.

Buddhism is much closer to the correct path than most interpretations of the Bible. Although, I’m sure what Jesus intended wasn’t half of what we see today

There's some politician in Stagnant Pond, GA who's in trouble for saying that interracial marriage "makes his blood boil," you know, since he's a Christian.

My advice for him would be to check out Moses' wife... but be discrete, man. A lot of guys don't like you gawking at their wives.

The original New York law would have limited victims of abuse by government employees to one year after the incident regardless of age. The Church demanded the same rules across the board and rightfully so.

It’s hard to defend the ghoulish machinery of the international child rape cabal.

Solid straw man argument there.

Why, then, is southern Louisiana so staunchly Catholic while voting Red?

I will also reverse the discipline of priestly celibacy. Priests will be allowed to marry and have children. Gay marriage amongst priests, however, will not be tolerated.

There estimates that as many as 50% of the US Catholic clergy are gay.

Do you really think celibacy is the reason behind that and that continued barring of openly homosexual behavior would change it?

I can see this. I honestly think that there are a percentage of priest who become priest because they have tendencies (sexual feelings.. whatever you want to call it) that go against the Catholic church so they feel that if they get married to the lord, they will not engage in sexual "sins".

And you would be right, Chris. The Apostles Creed is strong. Makes you understand where a gay couple's mind is in that same church. Because, they exist.

Honestly, that has to be tough. For someone to be gay and have strong faith in their church, which doesn't accept who they are.

They have to live with a daily struggle, which is sad.
