US Senator Bill Cassidy released a statement after reports surfaced from northwest Louisiana where ICE agents released 80 Haitian immigrants at a Shreveport bus terminal Thursday.

Friday, WBRZ also recorded video of a bus from LaSalle Corrections dropping off a bus load of people at the Greyhound terminal on Florida Boulevard. In Baton Rouge, people exited the bus to others waiting, meeting them with hugs and signs written with the words “liberty” and “freedom.”

Like this clown cares. Fake as hell.

Can we arm the illegals to give them a fighting chance?

ICE told the Shreveport TV station, “ICE’s enforcement and removal operations New Orleans field office is transporting individuals, in accordance with COVID-19 protocols, released from ICE custody to regional airports or bus stations. Individuals released from ICE custody have a transportation and a temporary support plan in place prior to release."

Why aren’t they sending them back to where they came from?

And the Haitians looked at their surroundings and thought man this place is shitty.

The only question that matters is are they legal or not?

Good chance you won't even get the opportunity to do so either.

I took Cassidy's impeachment votes and anti Trump statements as a signal he's not running for reelection and that tracks with the term limits pledge he made back in 2014.

Guess he was indeed serious about sticking to that pledge. But it doesn't matter, that pledge is going to be enforced anyway, with or without his consent.

Looking forward to voting for his conservative replacement.

What if the 2026 election is Cassidy vs JBE?

If Cassidy runs there’s still a chance he gets enough votes to get in a runoff if the field is really split.

Bill Cassidy might as well just go on vacations the rest of his term. He's probably even fricked up his shot at decent lobby firms because nobody knows what to do with him.

If he's ever on TV being interviewed or on a panel, I change the station.

STFU Cassidy. You’re not fighting for anything your constituents. Just because you’re taking a strong stance on these no-brainers, doesn’t mean you’re nothing more than a RINO.

frick you turncoat.

I vote Cassidy in that matchup with no hesitation at all.

It's not even a debatable question.

Why?

Because elections have consequences and I actually understand this and vote accordingly

Especially when back in 2015, JBE was going around lying to people about what a conservative dixiecrat he really is.

No matter what idiots who were sky screaming over David Vitter who called themselves conservative were telling me about JBE, I actually read the fine print about him and it showed that he was the political twin of Edwin Edwards and he's a hardcore partisan liberal democrat and he has absolutely held true to that description today and he's upping the ante on it.

Outside of his nonsense about Trump, 1/6 and the impeachment, Cassidy hasn't really rocked the boat on any major issues. Granted that may mean he's quite do nothing useless as a Senator but I would much rather have that than the political twin of Edwin Edwards who constantly seeks to damage and destroy my conservative political and financial interests.

In a jungle primary, that's would not be very surprising at all.
