The Mandeville people lost their damn minds and killed that thing. Probably the right call.

It’s absolutely the right call.

Slidell is more fitting for a Casino, especially if they can get it close to the Highway.

Slidell is great. It’ll bring in some tax revenue to st Tammany parish without actually affecting the Northshore.

Middendorfs thought the same. Place always looks empty.

Lakeshore estates will fight the ever living shite out of a casino in their backyard. The home values will depreciate real quick. It’s a very nice neighborhood that people invested a lot of $$$$ into.

Put that shite by the new Fremeaux development if you must put it anywhere.

I just don’t see the need for a casino there. I’d rather just drive to Biloxi.

What would be the path to get the boat to Slidell? It’s on the Red River? Does that come to MS River? Would they tow it that way and then into the Lake?

Red River to the lock below the Old River Control Structure into the Mississippi River. Lock from Mississippi River into Industrial Canal takes you into Pontchatrain.

Hopefully the changes will reduce the stultifying boredom and creepy sheriff rape.

It might over take heroin as Slidell’s biggest hustle. Good deal

We should let Mississippi annex Slidell.

Near neighborhoods...yikes.

My question is, what in the frick are they going to do with that dead mall?

Walmart distribution? Amazon?
Disney indoors?

St Tammany!!?? Wait Slidell!!?? Oh thank God, I thought they were trying to put it on the Northshore. Almost gave me a heart attack.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but the W St Tammany vs E St Tammany stuff cracks me up.

How wide is that ship? Will it fit in the Industrial Canal lock?

Actually I was thinking a slight route modification, once in the Industrial Canal, then to the Intercoastal, into the Rigolets, and then under the Chef bridge. I can't imagine trying to float a big boat like that through the Hwy 11 drawbridge.

Yep, I am going to open a durable medical equipment store in a nearby strip mall so I can refill all of the slot players oxygen tanks.

Some of the anchors have been leased to big box stores. I am thinking there will be some apartments built there in the future. That retail area in general is actually healthy. The Target center north of 12 is the big problem.
