My right rear tire was flattened by a bolt 2 months ago on a very hot day. I used fix-a-flat instead of going to my spare. Thirty minutes later Goodyear did the repair for no charge and I was on my way.
I still must have a spare tire. I prefer my 2001 Camry to overly complicated modern cars.

My Mazda3 has a full diameter spare, it's just narrower than the regular tires. That seems like a sensible compromise to help it fit under the trunk floor.

Somebody put the impact wrench too high on the
uggadugga setting. There is a set torque for lugnuts.

Wife's 2019 Audi Q7 doesn't have one. The bass for the sound system takes up that space. We have roadside assistance for it. Wouldnt want her changing it anyway.
I've had 1 flat if 18 years of driving. So I dont lose sleep over it or anything.
