I'm interested to know how do you feel about Jewel's singing?

Anyone who saw this wouldn't dare to even question Carrie.

This particular moment was her showing out.

Shes a talent.

Probably unpopular?

Not only is it WILDLY unpopular, it's incredibly fkn dumb. Vocally, there are very very few better.

She certainly oversings everything and she does not need to. She could be so much better if she backed it down a bit and wiped about a pound of makeup off her face

It's called the "Mariah Carey" effect. over sing every note to within an inch of its life.

HA! So it's Mariah who started this annoying semi-yodeling style?

Yup. Can't help but notice.

No one sings and holds & controls notes or ends vocals line with faded vibrato either any more. Neither do I hear singing from their soul anymore. It's mostly gratuitous and lazy, showing-off mediocre vocals.

She has a great voice, but something about the way she sings with her hands irritates me.

This would have been on page 2 within 2 hours on the music board. He knew which board to utilize.

Martina McBride opened for George Stait in mid 2000’s. We sat through 40 mins of amazing singing but at a certain point, we get it. You can stop singing super human notes. Like watching an action movie
