No one tells you when they lose, so I’ll start.

Should have sold my cruise stocks 3 weeks ago. Oops.

Carnival always sounds to me like a festering cauldron of disease.

I'm actually about to start researching booking a cruise for Mardi Gras next year. It's so tempting with these prices to book a southern Caribbean one with a good cruise line.

I’m curious if they’re even eligible for any sort of US relief. Aren’t the ships based out of the Caribbean?

Are you holding or dumping? I'm in the same situation with multiple different cruises.

Not really. But they are subject to jurisdiction when it comes to departing from US ports.

So basically the US can tell them they can't operate from US ports, but because they are organized outside the US, they aren't eligible for US help.

Only a bath if you sell it right now. Should be fine by winter.

In a few years we are planning to fly down there with a few other couples and book a staffed boat and island hop.

Interesting they think number of cases and severity will drastically improve in the fall. Wonder where they are getting their information to make such a decision.

Good riddance, these companies have hid their money offshores to avoid taxes from the US while simultaneously asking the gov for bailouts. They were already floating breeding ground for all sorts of viruses before the Shanghai Shivers was a thing and cause environmental disturbances where ever they go. Im glad the chickens have come home to roost for them.
