Look on the bright side, you no longer have to deal with oil slicks on your windshield and those pesky bald tires you couldn't afford to replace.

Should have paid extra for the retina match anti theft package.

Seriously though, did u accidentally leave your key fob in your console?

What is the insurance process like? How long before they write a check for the vehicle?

Did you not ask these questions to the insurance then? Judging by your reaction to your car being stolen, I'd say that your car was "stolen."

Was your briefcase in there, dude?

The funny thing is that story was real, including tracking down the kid using his homework but his father was just in a hospital bed in the living room, not an iron lung and the wrapper wasn't from In n Out but another fast-food chain.

Riverside Towing doesn't "steal" cars. They just take them without your permission.

I had a car get stolen several years ago. The insurance company put me in a rental for a while to see if it the stolen car would be recovered somewhere. They said it had a half eaten bowl of cereal and a in memory of t-shirt for some gang banger.

It was found out in New Orleans East a week later. Seemed like it was a professional job as they only took out the two air bags and two other things. Insurance said it was considered total because the cost to replace and put the items back in would have been too much.

They wrote me a nice check for more than I was expecting.

The fact that you came here first instead of calling your insurance company already casts doubt on this. What kind of car was it?

Give me the file number to your case and I will look into it.

Include e-mail address where I can contact you.

if you left the keys in it, some youths probably took it on a joyride to do hood rat things. It'll likely turn up in Gardere in a day or so

Yep, the were probably checking door handles and discovered their ride home. It will turn up in an apartment parking lot on GSRI or something.

I ditched it in Scotlandville. It smelled like BO from some valet.

Hope for a quick payout, that way it doesn't matter because you'll just give the car to the insurance company.

Depends on the level of trashed.

If she’s in her 40’s and known for indulging in libations, it ain’t stolen buddy. It’s parked outside one her side pieces house.
