University Care Care on Highland Road. Mark's place looks like a dump and he isn much of a conversationalist but he does great honest work at an affordable price.

Yes! Honest, reasonable, and not talkative. Keith's as well.

Stay away from Tri-care automotive on Airline. Gas would back up when filling like it does when it’s full. They told me I needed a new gas tank. It would cost $2000.00 dollars. I said no thanks. All it needed was a new emissions vapor canister. $150.00 which I replaced myself. Stay away from those crooks!

If you're willing to drive to Dutchtown, this guy and his sons are the best. Dependable work, honest, etc.

I've never had a bad experience with them.

Medines

Medine's doesn't do mechanic work. They are a body shop.

They do good work, but someone has been coaching the employees way too much on upselling. Seems like every time we drop off a company vehicle, they call back with additional work needed and it turns into a $3,000 repair estimate.
It's like we drop off a truck for an alignment, and they'll call saying it needs new brakes, wheel bearings, rotors, and a kitchen sink.

Basically the same thing I was dealing with over there.
They were $1,000's higher priced than the guys we're using now.

As with others I used Gordon and Sandifer but had an issue with my F150 engine that they couldn't diagnose

Someone recommended Daryl's Automotive to me and he resolved the issue and I've been using him since.

I recommend both.

Brakes and More

… I usually get the more

Art is all about getting you back on the road. His repeat customers keep him busy so he is not looking for extra work. He is just into figuring out what’s wrong and giving you options. I have used him for decades!

Agco.

Great customer service, fair pricing, great work, and honest with the customer. Not looking to rip off the customer for work they don’t need.

Ditto. I've been taking my vehicles to AGCO for probably 20 years now and this has always been my experience.

All of these are great Rec’s and 90% are clients of ours.

I slightly favor siegan car care , and Gonzales Tire only b/c when I was green in my career I worked hard to get their business and they gave me a shot first.

Been partners with these two for 20 plus and others here 10/15 plus .

Overall Baton Rouge metro truly has a lot of well run independent service centers !
