DIAGNOSE the problem before firing the parts cannon.
A pressure test is simple.
Lots of possibilities; head gasket, plastic tanks on the radiator failing, plastic fittings, rubber hoses failing, screw clamps leaking as the hose shrinks under them (one of the reasons they invented the spring clamps), leaks in the plastic overflow tank.

It could also be a faulty radiator cap.

Agree with everyone else who said to have it pressure tested. It’s done with a small lump attached to a radiator cap. The radiator has to be cool, so the coolant doesn’t evaporate before the tech can seee it. Pretty simple operation, actually.

If you pressurize a closed system and it doesn't hold the pressure is going somewhere.
Find the leak, fix the leak.
ETA: Soapy water in a spray bottle is your friend.

4runner guy got fricked.
He replaced a bunch of made in Japan parts with a bunch of made in Mexico parts.
You never buy aftermarket parts unless the parts are better.
IE, I replaced every single rubber hose on my nissan at 200k. I went with all oem parts. Changed belts. Thermostat. Valve covers. Radiator cap. Overflow tank. Pcv. Belt tensioner. And plugs. The only aftermarket part purchased was the heatercore outlet. Stock one is plastic. I replaced with aluminium dayco model.
600 bucks total in parts.
All parts were manufactured in the US or in Japan.
Now at 240k. Other than a leaky seal from me abusing the steering rack... It's bulletproof.

Wifey had a Mazda protege back in the early 90's (BTW that was a piece of shite) that developed a radiator leak in the plastic tanks on the radiator.
Replaced the radiator with a Modine aftermarket unit that had brass tanks instead of plastic.
Sometimes OEM is better, sometimes not.

Just to replace the radiator was $600. I also had them replace the hoses and radiator cap.

I am the least handy person i know, and i changed mine out a few weeks ago
Just couple hours max. It’s literally disconnecting a couple of hoses, unhooking a couple of things, pull out old one, and reconnect

I have a good relationship with the mechanic at the Toyota dealership where I purchased my 4Runner. I also bought a Highlander there last year. The 4Runner is the truck I let my dogs into. The dogs are not allowed inside my Highlander.
I didn't even think of getting feedback from TD when I had my radiator issue last month. Wish I did now...

Ha, I'm about to drop 1k on a radiator replacement so I'm not knocking the made in. My mechanic is just a stickler for OEM on my car and it honestly doesn't save a ton.
