I had a Mitsubishi Galant that you could not kill. That vehicle had the least amount of maintenance of any car I ever drove. The only thing that ever went bad on it was the electrical switch that moved your rear view mirrors around.

Do you think it is normal for a car to burn a quart of oil every month with normal use??
Yeah, I do think that's within the expected range for an inexpensive car after 100,000 miles. I'm not a big fan of Korean cars, but you're talking about, what, $0.20 of oil per day? You saved your money when you bought a Korean car. Then you kept driving it for a long time, also saving money. Good job being frugal, but we're not talking about a Rolls Royce here. If anything, you got exactly what you were looking for.
Personally, I'd never buy a Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, GM, Tesla, or Fiat-Chrysler product. Maserati shouldn't even require mention

They notched that guy's afro to fit in the turbo downpipe, but then they wimped out and went electric. Me myself personally, I'd want my damn afro back.

You will never catch my arse driving a Kia.

I absolutely love the way the Land Rovers look. I saw a matte black one here in Sarasota a few weeks ago. Thing may have been the best looking vehicle Ive ever seen on the road. Sexy AF
But Id never own one. The upkeep cost is the highest on the market and the shite drives me crazy. And takes all my money
Bought the wife a Jaguar S type once. That fricker almost broke me. Then like the stupid MF'er I am, I bought her a Mini Cooper. She loved the frick out of it but it also almost broke me.
So my long winded answer is
Land Rover
Even though I want a black matte one

LOL. Ford is sellout foreign made trash. Less USA parts than most Toyotas sold here.

Do you think it is normal for a car to burn a quart of oil every month with normal use?? Look up the Hyundai Theta engine. Trust me, I also battled with that shite company. They fought me every step of the way. But by all means, go purchase a Hyundai.
My experience was the exact opposite. Just after 100k miles, my daughters 2018 Tucson crapped out. I went to the dealership and they informed me the warranty had been extended to 150k and the would replace the engine gratis. They also fixed a paint recall as well.
It was certainly a pain losing the car for almost a month, but the experience with Hyundai was flawless.
