it's all peace and love. Nope. It doesn't work that way.
so how does this sentiment jive with your personal religious beliefs, just curious?

I have never heard leftists rail against cancel culture until now.
then maybe it will end up being a good thing, and they will "cancel" cancel culture... can a good not come out of a bad?

Extremism is the real villain and unfortunately more and more people are willingly lining up to fill a spot for all types of extremism.

Too late. Far too late.
There will be no unilateral disarmament. They used these tools for years. Now, they will be turned on them.

I guess we're misunderstanding each other.
yeah, i think we are, but that's ok, i understand what you are saying... i hope you understand what i'm saying, b/c i think our statements are conflating 2 separate discussions...
all good...

I've never said every person.
IMO, it's sora inferred with the "i can't look at the OTHER SIDE the same way"... maybe you didn't mean every single one, you may not have, but it reads that way, just so you know... again, all good, you seem like a really nice dude
quote:
At the same time you seem upset at what is a very small group tracking down people's employers online
i'm upset with hypocrisy of one side being upset over people doing that before they turned around and did it too... that and the abject retardedness of our society doing that to begin with, no matter who started it...
as far the one's celebrating and getting outed, that's on them... they deserve it b/c it's reprehensible that they are doing that... i hate for people to lose their jobs, but if you play stupid games, you get stupid prizes

The left didn't murder Charlie Kirk anymore than the right murdered Palestinians or was responsible for running over people in Charlottesville. Mentally unstable and radicalized people are responsible with the extremists online providing the fuel to their insanity. People are brainwashed.
The left at all levels has called Trump and his supporters Nazi fascists over and over and over again for years now.
There’s only 1 reason to do this - dehumanize them to the point where violence is justified.
Drop the “both sides are bad” bullshite and wake the frick up

Cancelling someone because they are anti-DEI, or believe a woman should be in the home, or that reparations are ridiculous, or other similar issues is far different than holding people accountable who are reveling in the cold-blooded murder of someone. These people have been able to frick around because it was allowed. Not this time.

Do I think a person should be called out for publicly celebrating someone's murder? Um, unequivocal "yes" from me. In fact, Charlie spoke about this very thing quite often - conflating "Jesus loved everybody" with the truth that he had a very strict set of standards and told his people to follow the rules. "Thou shalt not kill" is a big one.
Celebrating a murder is some psycho level stuff and should put a person on an FBI watch list. People who think this way are unable to have objective thought about their students, patients, clients, whatever. Charlie Kirk was murdered for having an opinion, and people are openly celebrating it. As in, taking the time to make videos of to put on their socials. Saying it openly at work and just assuming everyone agrees. Yes, expose them for what they are.

It all boils down to accountability. And clearly a lot of you don’t believe in it.

no... i'm asking about retribution in the form of violence from someone on the right towards someone on the left... would that satisfy a need for you?

and which rules, for dealing with an adversary, do you think Jesus would impose in this situation, in your opinion?
