Legislating what people want to put in their bodies or frick has never worked. It will never work.

Brah, Mississippi will be on of the first red states. They decriminalized big time before the others.

You would think these agrarian states would be all for a major cash crop. Farmers would be walking "in high cotton"

Big Tobacco is all for legalization. They've got thousands of patents and the infrastructure to switch crops immediately.

However, the really good weed will have to be grown indoors in the South I think.

I feel like the city of New Orleans will try to legalize it before the state as a whole.

100% what will happen. NOLA has basically already decriminalized it. They will attempt to legalize once the Feds allow states to do it.

Will be a battle between the Parish/City and State.

It is incomprehensible to me how anyone still supports the wholesale ban of marijuana.

It will rapidly be scaled and overtaken by big agg like everything else. Won't make a damn bit of difference to the farmer unfortunately. Then think about the seed practices Monsanto uses already. You'll have corporations trying to copyright (or patent, not sure which) their own strains and then sue people who grow it on their own.

At least it will lessen the justice system considerably. And hopefully refocus things.

This is already happening globally.

which state will be the next to legalize recreational? I do not keep up the the political movement frequently. Can’t wait to be able to drive down to the local pot store and purchase whatever I would like.

like someone above mentioned, i think mississippi will be among the next states to legalize. and honestly, if they do, i dont really care if louisiana ever does

recreational use is currently legal in:
-CO
-WA
-OR
-CA
-NV
-AK
-MA
-ME

supposedly NY has it on the ballot this year, and the remainder of the NE states and the midwest are sure to follow. whatever you think of people who choose to smoke, this backwards arse 19th century BS abolition is the losing side

Restrictive, xenophobic immigration policy.

Forcing doctors to participate in morally objectionable elective procedures.

Soyboy cuck prime minister.

Beady eyes and flapping heads.

Yep. Instead of capitalizing on something that will be legal across the country in 20 years and helping our economy, of course Louisiana will be one of the last to legalize it.

I don't understand the whole legalize and monetize mindset. It's a plant. I should be able to grow it in my backyard if I want to.
