Still looks like a leopards head resting on straw to the far right mid way.

Pictures like this always make me wonder how much dangerous (and benign) stuff I have simply walked by when out and about in nature.

How can you see the head and not that?

I’ve been giggling thinking about the “enhance… enhance… enhance” scene from Super Troopers since I clicked on this thread so my real question is how have those hidden dangers not killed my dumb arse yet?

I assume the creatures just think we are so dumb we are beneath their attention and likely not very appetizing to eat or something else would have already munched on us.

That's damn crafty! I would have never found it if the picture wasn't expanded.

Or maybe they are just scared of us. How many animals have seen us kill other animals with ease?

That thing definitely would have lit my arse up because it took me awhile to see it even after y'all described where it was. That's some perfect camouflage

On my way to Everest in April, out of Namche, we went for a 1700ft climb to an area where there is a monument to Hillary, which is the first view of Everest. I whipped out a pair of Binoculars and a few of the sherpas wanted to look through them for a while. They were sighting Tahr. They commented on how many they could see vs trying to find them with naked eyes. After that, nearly every stop, they asked for the binos.

I've sat here about 2 min and can't figure it out. Just count me among the dead I suppose.

This was the only thing I saw until you pointed it out. But it looks more like a rabbit or coyote if anything. Coyote with a rabbit head.

You have to really zoom in. Slightly lower than dead center. Bottom of the ditch. You can see his head and half his body.

I first saw what I think he saw. If you look just above the top left corner of that white rock in the middle, you can see what resembles a big cat's face.

The resolution isn't great and that makes it a little harder than it should be. Bastard is tough to see.

It's really amazing how well some animal camo works. How did they survive and evolve without realtree????

I still don’t see it. Can you circle him?. I thought he was middle but at the top.

This is how I found it.

I figured he would be in the dark rock field. As a hunter I always look for contrast.

Saw the two light colored rocks first. The small one above his rump led my eye’s to his light colored belly. Then the two dark eyes and the light colored whiskers.

Bingo. It all came into view. That’s when I would have shot. My PawPaw, Daddy and some very old trappers taught me this.
