I am saying as someone who has been around aerobic athletes his whole life, as well as in the gym for countless hours, most peoples push up form is an absolute disgrace. It’s the worst performed exercise in the gym. Worse than deep squats and deadlifts

If I have 10 years to do 40 pushups then I got this.

What is going on in here
70 consecutive pushups would have you as possibly the strongest woman in history

My abs were amazing back then. I was a gymnast and have a lot of upper body strength. 70 pushups isn't superhuman, and I was like 98 lbs.

Just did 41 in 45 seconds.

54. Just stopped at 43. Had a lot left in the tank.

70 straight proper pushups for a woman would be closing in on strongest woman territory
The LSU gymnasts used to do about 10-15 straight or so, then summement they rest of their reps assisted with a band or go to “girl pushups”

I’m 53 and can do 50-60 easily. I have to pass an annual physical fitness test for my job and I always perform among the best. I have significantly slowed down and on the 1.5 mile run. That’s a lot harder than it once was. It’s because I have back issues and it hurts like hell. Sit ups are still okay. I can do about 35. Better than most half my age.

I am almost 38 and can knock-out 30 with no problem right now. A college gymnast doesn't get tired after 10-15 pushups.

I was on the swimming/diving team. So I was in the gym and 10 pushups would have been a joke. I think they were just trying to make you feel better about yourself.
