I used to take it before I became a Marshal, basically I'm not allowed anymore. Its definitely mentally addicting, I've been off of it for over 4 years and still have cravings for it.
That's not to mention that for about the first week I felt completely energy-less and had a hard time waking up and being motivated. Nothing like other withdrawals though.

I was abusing it pretty hard two or three years ago. Lost like 35 pounds and was eating 3-4 meals a week. Was not a great time in my life lol.
Friends had a intervention and I slowed down big time. I still will take some every once in awhile on the weekends because I do like the way it makes me feel, but that’s it.
I would definitely advise to be careful with f.

Trust me, she's absolutely no fun when she thinks she can have a few drinks. She turns into an argumentative, hysterical idiot who can't be reasoned with.
She is living back at home and her mother and I are trying our best to help her with her issues and things are improving, but slowly. Now she's on several anti-psychotic drugs to help her deal with her issues and even a couple glasses of wine puts her over the edge of sane actions.
I'm 66 and her mother just turned 60, basically too old to be dealing with this type crap, but if not, she's on the street because NOBODY wants to deal with her issues.

I've taken Adderall for 7 yrs. I've stopped a couple of times.
Takes me a couple of days to pick up, but I wouldn't call it "addicted". Perhaps somewhat dependent.
