Can you balance the State budget? (Advocate Game)

Raise taxes on cigarettes, end the movie tax credits, don't fund TOPS fully and you're most of the way to a budget surplus.
I eliminated the deficit and had about a 6% surplus.
This really isn't that difficult.

The movie tax credits are an incentive to attract more movies to be filmed in Louisiana right? If you take away the tax credits then there is no incentive to come here. How doesn't the tax credits hurt?

have a constitutional convention to amend state constitution to allow for cuts other than to healthcare and education, get rid of about 1/2 the state workers, eliminate the waste and abuse and we would not have to raise taxes one bit

Solved, eliminated deficit and generated 1.49% more overall revenue for Louisiana
