This thread made me go check the LDH COVID Dashboard.

FYI, those not fully vaccinated only account for 32% of of deaths from 6/2 - 6/8.

You can still see the BS of the hospitalization number as those not fullly vaccinated supposedly make up 64% of current COVID hospitalizations.

Oh, also this:

In observance of Juneteenth, LDH will not update the dashboard on 6/17/2022

I wish this was permanent. Made shopping much easier.

I went to the post office a few weeks ago. An African-American lady with her mask on was in line ahead of me and was standing on the sticker. I was making sure I had the correct postage for what I was sending out and wasn't paying attention and I guess I got a little too close to her...she didn't say anything but I could tell she was annoyed. Then the lined moved up and she stood on the next sticker...like it was keeping her safe.

Brothas and sistas are gonna be wearing masks more than the Asians from here on out

They've been told by the media that they're more likely to die because of the color of their skin and not because of their race's overall poor health due to highly prevalent cultural norms.

Never had to deal with this where I shop, but I couldn't imagine grocery shopping and not being able to pass people that just stand there in the aisle, next to their cart, and staring at the shelves because they have no idea why they are there. Then they need to make a call to go over all of the varieties to make sure they are buying the correct option.

Millennial and zoomer chicks are back to wearing masks locally. I think they actually enjoy it.

I agree with this! Why are all the stores leaving them up?

I’m not gonna lie, one little part that I appreciated was people not being up in my shite during social distancing in a store.

I don’t remember the not passing people, but the one way aisles were awesome. Caused way less congestion in the aisles.

Good for you - I ignored the one-way markers and nobody ever said a word to me.

If I saw a sissy-arse like you in the aisle I'd also prob throw a bag of Doritos at the back of your head.

It was the one thing that probably actually helped. The vaccines didn’t do shite, and the masks didn’t either. So if they keep the stickers I really don’t care.

I like to think that there is a happy middle ground between the idiots who locked themselves away for years over the sniffles and the people who stand 3 inches from you despite having hygiene similar to a rat in 14th century London. We would probably be better as a society if we tried to find that sweet spot
