Chicken,
The next big update should be that you can just click an attachment link and upload from your device. We are in 2025, you shouldn’t have to go outside sites to be able to post pics.

Imgur did some dumb shite recently that made it impossible to find the direct link to your image so you can embed. Instead it gives you a link to the album where you uploaded it. If I had to guess it's because they want to drive clicks to their site for ad revenue instead of just hosting embeds

I had this problem a couple weeks ago. Someone suggested to use postimages.org

I would bet that TD doesn’t want to host your image files in their chain of data centers in the Texas hill country.

Imgur still works for me on mobile. 
Once you open an “Album”, tap the image so it opens in full frame, then tap the arrow and “Get Link”.
Seems to work fine.

Delete your account.
Go to imgur com/upload on your mobile browser and click the "view as desktop" setting (you only do that once)
Then just upload your image exactly like on your PC.
Protip: use an ad-free browser like Brave
ETA step by step
Step 1 go to imgur.com/upload and set it to open as 'desktop site'
Step 2 select an image from your device
Step 3 wait for it to upload and the *GREEN BANNER* to appear. (very important)
Step 4 Select the [...], you may have to move the image up or down to get that to show up. very important you click that. Select the "Get share links' option from that pop-up.
Step 5 On the pop-up that appears, select the bbcode 'copy link' button and you've got the complete image code pasted to your clipboard!
COPY PASTE into your post. DONE!
