I wonder what my chances of going I59 to picayune tomorrow AM are? That’s really the only way to get there from Abita.

Not a road closure, but my sister just called and said she and her husband's car slid out of control, hit the railing, got turned around and got hit by several other cars. Multi-car pileup on I-10 heading east between LaPlace and Kenner(I believe).

Traffic looks backed up for the length of the bridge.

Not sure about twin spans but Causeway is closed and I-10 across the Bonnet Carre spillway is closed.

I know that the intercoastal, on both sides, is closed (near the MRB).

At one point I saw that the MRB was closed going westbound.

And I know the Plaquemine ferry will remain open all night.

The plaquemine ferry has now been closed because it was becoming a problem for people to drive up the levee.

Take us51 the low road on side of 55 then 22 / 190 to where you need to go on north shore.
