Yup. It’s very relax subtle buzz. Exactly what I look for when I use THC now

Most employers drug test people they want to fire.

Im in the same boat as you. I went to HR and straight up asked if I had a script for the medical MJ would I be covered. He'll No they told me

Welp, that's wrong on every account. THC from hemp is and has been federally legal since 2018.

There’s no reason for companies to be testing for whether or not you consumed THC in the past month if it’s perfectly legal to buy THC products at the store. That’s like saying if we found out you drank alcohol over the past month then you’re in trouble. It’s totally retarded and unnecessary.
The answer to your question is YES....your company likely will not care how you ingested the substance that is not allowed according to their D&A policy.
The test for THC can't determine if it was ingested legally or illegally. It only determines how much of the substance is in your body. Your company can make exceptions if you have a valid prescription (just like if you were on other meds) but most will not.
From the company's standpoint, every employee who tests positive for THC could claim they took one of these legal substances containing THC when you may be consuming it illegally. Unfortunately for THC users, THC stays detectable much longer than alcohol.

Because unlike what is said earlier in the thread, it’s not the same THC. Delta-9-THC, the primary psychoactive compound in weed, is heavily regulated.
Delta-8-THC, which is less potent and is also present in hemp, is currently unregulated in many jurisdictions unless laws were passed specifically to kill it.
Not true. Delta-9 is legal, depending on the source. As long as it is coming from industrial hemp, they are good. The gummies that I get, which are federally legal, are Delta-9. (Five CBD brand)

Employers make their rules
That said, I’ve never seen the market as loose on drug testing as it is now.

Yes. You will piss hot.
It’s bullshite. You should not be prohibited by an employer for consuming a legal beverage off the clock.
Either ban it or legalize it fully. Enough of this hodgepodge nonsense

Part of it has to do with insurance too. In the past alot of workers' comp insurers would give pretty hefty discounts if you had a 0 tolerance drug policy in place. That is changing a bit now obviously.
Discount was probably negligible to the already ridiculous cost. Also I got sued by an employee that positive tested after an accident. So really just workers comp is a piece of shite.

Rouses sells a lot of those things legally

THC is on the federal DOT panel, so it isn't up to your employer if that is required. Alcohol is also on that panel. It being legal has nothing to do with it.
But you already knew that, I suspect.

The Rouses in Saint George had them on an end-cap in the liquor section.
