SuperSaintquote:. maybe you shouldn’t drink them because you’d like to not be a trashy sob, but I guess being worried about a drug test could be second best reason.

Didn’t see that one coming.

As for the drinks themselves, yes they will get you very high if you have a low tolerance.

I hadn't smoked weed in probably 25 years. I drank 2 of them and felt a mild buzz, more relaxed than anything. On the other hand, my buddy who told me about them says he drinks 1 and has a great buzz. He quit drinking alcohol and only drinks those now.

Drinking a legal very low key legal beverage is a far cry from being a stoner loser.

If they are testing for THC (weed) you'll pop positive if you drink one, even if it's legal in Louisiana.

You can thank Louisiana legislature for protecting you from THC in marijuana, but legalizing it if its from hemp. Your employer likely won't care where it came from though.

Depends on company policy. My company tests for THC which is a bummer because I’d like to try one of these. I think it’s ridiculous how harmless marijuana is, yet it stays in your system the longest.

probably not

if you don't use any thc and drink one on friday, you will pass a urine test by monday. that might change if you do that every weekend though

I do not think my doctor would prescribe something you can purchase at the gas station.

How do you prove/disprove THC intoxication?

I think there’s some type of oral swab test available now for active THC intoxication, but I could be mistaken. I heard some plant baws talking about it.

Where does THCa come down in all of this?

Yup. It’s very relax subtle buzz. Exactly what I look for when I use THC now

THC-A is, for all intents and purposes, marijuana. Its how it was explained to me. Dry, it tests for THC as hemp. Light it on fire, and the heat makes it activate. THC-A is illegal to buy over the counter in Louisiana. HOWEVER, you can go on a retailer's website, order, and USPS will bring you a pound to your door if thats what you want. Completely legal. Once again, Louisiana is stupid.

Reason why gummies and seltzers give one couch lock is because thats the design. Strains differ but indica is couch lock, sativa is a traditional 'weed' high.

Those of us that don't or can't drink ( I can't drink because I was a fatass and have a bad liver), indeed use it as a replacement for alcohol.

I'm retired so I give frick all about testing.

Yes. Trump made thca legal in 2018. For those that aren't smart enough to figure it out, the cannabis plant only produces thca and not THC. So essentially trump made weed legal. The reason why you smoke weed is too convert thca to THC. It's the reason why you won't get high if you eat a nug straight off of the weed plant. it's why you must first decarb the weed if you are going to eat it, to convert thca to THC.

Some legal rec states with legit certificates of analysis, coa, will show that that the weed is mostly thca, while other states will show the conversion rate of just THC instead. Thca converts to THC from time and heat. So during the curing process some thca will convert to THC. So for hemp to be legal, the THC content must be at our under .3%, but the kicker is that I think they don't have to test the hemp until like 30 days before harvest. ????

This .3% is why THC edibles are legal across the USA, as it is. 3% by weight of the edible. So yes eating a d9, which is THC, edible will get you high and make you fail a drug test potentially.

Some states are trying to ban thca as it completes with their legal rec and medical weed, as thca hemp doesn't have all those bullshite taxes added on. You can buy thca hemp from Cali vendors and not pay any taxes on it, but if you were to buy rec or medical weed you'd be taxed out the ying yang.

There are tests that can tell if the THC comes from an illegal source (cannabis) or one of the legal sources (hemp derived Delta 8 or 9). Your company HR might care, they might not.

the test can't do that. Thca hemp is weed, it's just a loop hole as to why it's legal.
