Austin has many things to do, good food, and live music. Sounds like lame arse OP doesn't enjoy anything if he doesn't like Austin.

This is exactly the attitude I’m talking about - acting like Austin is the epitome of fun and excitement

Sorry baw but Vegas and Miami are far superior to Austin no matter how you look at it.

In your opinion, sure.

This also explains why you don't like Austin.

Overall economy is excellent
Very low unemployment
Higher wages
Lower crime

If you could define your perspective, other than being a bigot, it could help compare cities.

From a family, education, quality of life perspective, I don’t know if many of your cities compare.

I can’t believe that is a real place.

Barton Creek is nice.
I sort of hate sixth street though.

but now when you drive to Dripping Springs is just a suburb and it’s city all the way there. Town has grown so much since then it’s hard to even recognize

This is essentially how I feel about most of the area around San Antonio, Austin, and everything in between. It is turning into Dallas/Fort Worth. I think the only way to avoid it is by moving out to Fredericksburg/Llano/some other hill country town.

Miami itself sucks and is a large ghetto.....until you cross a bridge and get to South Beach.

Vegas is just an adult playland. I don't like to gamble, but had a great time with sports betting. Still. Great and cheap vacation destination.

And I'm perfectly OK with that. I've already admitted that it just doesn't fit my style. The liberal hipster vibe just isn't my thing.

Bruh- he talked to the locals and he didn’t like the waiter at the burger place they recommended. Clearly he’s got a pulse on that city.

Ya, it makes sense not to like Dirty 6th, but there's also West 6th and East 6th which may be more your speed, unless you never got there.

Not to mention all the other little pockets of bars around town.

I guess if you're planning on living in Austin, I can understand the perks of low crime, etc. But as far as just visiting... nope.

I mean, if South Beach and Vegas are your thing you almost can't find that scene outside of maybe NY and LA.

That's not even a fair comparison. New Orleans has a great bar scene and yet would utterly fail if you were looking for South Beach/Vegas stuff to do

It's like you like Mexican food, go to Cambodia, and bitch it doesn't have Mexican food.

I was born at St David's brother. I know Austin.

Great city for eating and relaxing.
Traffic is my only real dislike.

Austin is clearly way worse than other cities dude. I live 60 miles south in a city that has basically the exact same history aside from way more Mexicans and I never see that many weirdos around here.
