I was more confused after reading that article than I was before.

Don't know why... Target panders to the liberals/ SJW's and minorities.
Right. Didn't they spend like $20M so transgenders could stand/sit or whatever in the bathrooms?

I hope Dave Chappell is collecting all this shite for his next HBO Special.

It literally has a target on the building

I think you are mistakenly under the impression that there is much logic behind all of this.
As what happens almost every time we have one of these events, what arose from and incident of alleged police brutality and (presumably) began as a protest against such, has morphed into a nebulous hodgepodge of protest, violence, destruction of property, looting and other general malfeasance with no coherent message other than all 230,000,00 white people in the US are categorically racist.
Unfortunately for Target one of their stores was prominently featured being destroyed at the first of these "protests" and the copycat protesters illogically followed suit in various cities. That, and for whatever reason, Target is seen as a "white persons"store. Even though every time I have shopped in one I've seen many black employees and shoppers
Again, don't try to find logical answers in all of this. There is very little to go around

How many other Targets were looted? I know there was a standoff outside one in St Paul, but that's the only other one I know of.
Genuinely asking because I don't know.

Target is seen as white suburban shopping. The low IQ bunch hates anything that exudes whiteness.

To shed a bit of light on the matter in Hammond today, chances are the black man flipped-out after being whipped into a frenzy by the liberal media's coverage of supposed police brutality. He most likely chose Target because it's not like there's many other shopping centers in the area to choose from, not because of a vendetta against the retailer.
