Okay. I’ll bite.

I’m working on my house right now. I needed 250sqft of a specific tile.

Lowe’s sells it. As does prosource.

At Lowe’s I’ve got to go to each store, track down a stocker to get the box off the top shelf with the lift. Only to realize they’ve got 100 sqft and I’ve now got to go to three more stores.

Or I can deal with my rep at ProSource. She tracks down the item, tells me when it’ll be at the store, calls me when it’s ready, has it inspected to make sure nothing is broken and is ready for pickup.

Oh, and it’s the same price as Lowe’s.

You think she should be paid the same as that stock clerk?

Nah. They aren’t.

And the the time you spend doing this is making someone else money. Well done asshat.

Yeah, that’s all that matters. Not giving your patients the best care, but the fact that your organization gets the cheapest products. I’m sure if I did a press release on your hospital or organization that your primary goal is to make them “tax exempt” and not what is best for your patients that the public would be thrilled. You should be fricking fired and your penny pinching organization should sued into an oblivion as far as I’m concerned.

I never said they did it right or that it was even the right thing to do. Just that it was interesting that what they do is completely different yet they are paid the same exact way. Sooty I rustled your jimmies about your order taking job

Order what? A big arse piece of machinery that needs to be installed in a hospital? C'mon man. I'll gladly sell it to you if you want to install it in your garage. Or if you are an OT baller, I'll install it in your pool house.

Sounds like you are doing the grunt work

If you are that unhappy with your job just start another thread asking how to get into sales. We will gladly help.

And you just said that your primary goal is to be tax exempt and not to look out for the best needs of your patients. You should be in fricking jail for this level of penny pinching, you cheap twat.

Don’t try to spin zone this. You have littered this thread with post stating that you don’t think they are needed. You are just starting to see the other side of the fence now and don’t like it.

Well that's not at all what I said, but you obviously can't handle that part so I'll gloss over it.

Secondly, wouldn't saving the patients money in the ever rising Healthcare industry be in their best interests? I'm not changing what was bought only fixing that you couldn't enter it correctly therefore costing your customer money, maybe I should tell them to get a rep that's not a dumbass.

No, stupid, the medical spied for a surgery were I to need one, as in the implantables that would be taxable where the hospital to buy them.

Summation:

You are a nerdy accountant billing by the hour, working stupid hours for the man, jealous of sales guys.

End of thread.

Why would I take a demotion and start peddling frac valves or reagents like you when I could just continue interacting with the CEO of major retailers? Doesn't sound like a smart move to me, but then again Im not smart enough to have a general business degree

Well that's very unlikely seeing as Lowes has a very sophisticated inventory tracking system
