I'm planning on hosting a crawfish boil on Saturday in Baton Rouge and out of all the days this week and next, Saturday is supposed to get heavy downpours and 90% chance of rain.

With the work done in the hurricane threads, I'm asking if anyone here who keeps up with the weather can give me their thoughts on Saturday. Would hate to cancel but if it's raining all day that won't be fun either.

You should call Diane Deaton. She is the area expert.

Sounds like there's a 90% chance of rain.

RDS Doc is your man.

If Peej says anything, do the opposite.

Won't the Blues Festival get moved indoors somewhere if it's raining?

The dogs can handle him, I think. He doesn't move much yet.

For real though, if the weather is nasty we won't be going anywhere on Saturday. Might bring him out to Blues Fest on Sunday if it's nice enough.

They have moved it into the River Center for bad weather in the past.

It's not so much hosting it that's the problem, but quite a few guests are travelling from New Orleans and I don't want to put them in danger of driving down a stormy I-10. Accidents happen to often on the I-10 when it's clear and sunny.

It's going to rain. We're working cows that morning and it's looking like it blows out of NWLA about daylight. So I'd imagine BR's Saturday is going to be wet.
