Can I get a final OT ruling RE: Marriage, Trashiness, Poors, etc

So it appears a significant part of the OT believes that marriage is completely antiquated and pointless in this day and age. Only suckers and morons willfully sign away half their shite in exchange for being told what to do and when to do it for the rest of their life. There is no logical reason for a man to get married anymore. If it floats, flies, or fricks, rent don't buy....
On the other hand...
It appears a significant and overlapping part of the OT attributes a great deal of societies ills on the destruction of the nuclear family, particularly among minorities, and how our country has gone to shite because the government rewards "bad" behavior (children out of wedlock, being a single mom, etc.)
Does the "marriage is for suckers" only apply to financially stable white guys?

Yeah. I guess the OP thinks his argument was clever, but it's pretty flawed.

If all your friends are married then get married and it might last
If any of her friends are single or remarried they will be in her ear always saying stuff about how their new man is better than their first husband, or how it's great being single and not having to worry about a spouses feelings or worrying about them getting mad when they spend all their time with the vagina squad and never has time for their husbands and vise versa for men towards their wives.

No, just for financially stable guys in general.
Or..if you're a guy dating a mega star, and she proposes. That leaves the door open. If you can take half her shite, and bang all the girls that hate on her and like to think they can have what she has..win/win.

I think this is where you are wrong.... Parents don't have to be married to successfully raise a child. They just need to care about the child above all else and be present in that child's life. If all parents, especially dads, were present and participated, kids wouldn't be delinquent fricks. Dead beat dads are the problem. Black, white or brown. Doesn't matter.
I'm single btw and will never get married again. It's not my jam. I'm sure it's great for lots of folks though.

So are white knights that put all blame on men and refuse to call out bad behavior in women.

Sure it's not a set in stone requirement, but let's not bullshite ourselves and say that this is the optimal situation for the children. At least one, if not both parents will be a lot more disconnected from the child's life if they are single and only one of them lives with the child.

YouTube Chris Rock "married and boring or single and lonely" bit.
It sums it up pretty well. I enjoy being married and love my wife. But don't get me wrong. I'd love a time machine to go back and have about 2 or 3 weekends to do over again. I'd still want to be married to the same woman, but there'd be 3 or so women who would "Facebook friend" me.

Life is shitty regardless of whether you get married or not. Do it or don't, everything is gonna suck either way.

There is no contradiction because the first part is true for you personally but the second (if true) applies more to the kids, not to you personally.

80% of what people on the OT say and claim is 100% bullshite.

Don't married people typically make note money and have higher status jobs?

What gives? Why are men here and abroad avoiding the altar in spades?
1. Because they can: Men used to marry to have sex and a family. They married for love, too, but they had to marry the girl before taking her to bed, or at least work really, really hard to wear her down. Those days are gone.
When more women make themselves sexually available, the pool of marriageable men diminishes. “In a world where women do not say no, the man is never forced to settle down and make serious choices,” writes George Gilder, author of "Men and Marriage."
Scoff if you wish. Call me a fuddy-duddy. But how’s that new plan working out?
=============================
2. Because there’s nothing in it for them: What exactly does marriage offer men today? “Men know there’s a good chance they’ll lose their friends, their respect, their space, their sex life, their money and — if it all goes wrong — their family,” says Helen Smith, Ph.D., author of "Men on Strike." “They don’t want to enter into a legal contract with someone who could effectively take half their savings, pension and property when the honeymoon period is over.Men aren’t wimping out by staying unmarried or being commitment phobes. They’re being smart.”
Unlike women, men lose all power after they say “I do.” Their masculinity dies, too.
What’s left of it, that is. In the span of just a few decades, America has demoted men from respected providers and protectors of the family to superfluous buffoons. Today’s sitcoms and commercials routinely paint a portrait of the idiot husband whose wife is smarter and more capable than he.
There was a time when wives respected their husbands. There was a time when wives took care of their husbands as they expected their husbands to take care of them.
Or perhaps therein lies the rub. If women no longer expect or even want men to “take care of” them — since women can do everything men can do and better, thank you very much, feminism — perhaps the flipside is the assumption that women don’t need to take care of husbands, either. And if no one’s taking care of anyone, why the hell marry?

And that is why you should always remain good friends with the drunk from college who lived on everybody's couch and never got married.

If you're a single guy making a good income what's wrong with remaining unmarried? Marriage isn't a bad thing if you're making a low salary and need two incomes to start a family. If you're an educated guy who's making money with no desire for kids you really don't get that much in tangible benefits from marriage.
Posted on 6/9/16 at 10:35 am to JohnnyKilroy
50 percent of the time it works all the time.

I can understand that, but that is a very small demographic in our society. Vast majority want and have kids at some point in their lives.

I'd say middle to high income earning males are the majority demographic on the OT, at least past age 24.
