Hope he's talking about the early 70s ones, they were pretty bad arse. My cousin had one with a 455H/O and a 4 speed. The front wheel drive ones were junk though.

Corporate economics dictate they probably won't reappear, but Pontiac did have some unique offerings such as:

GTO in '63 (performance in smaller car)
G-body suspensions
Supercharger on Bonnevilles/3800

Never owned one though.

Why do they have people playing basketball in the background?

Because the car looks like a High top Converse All-Star shoe.

Are the residents of your trailer park having trouble finding vehicles now that pontiac is gone?

Im sure they can find some used Sunfires or Aztecs to put on blocks in the yard.

Loved the grand am

You had me until you used the Grand Am. It was a great car in the early 00's

But the GTO and Firebird were the models that I loved.

It really is a shame how Pontiac fell off in its last decade.

I think Pontiac should come back as an all-electric performance vehicle. Have it compete with Tesla by building a sporty electric coupe.

My wife owned an 04 Grand Prix GT2. That sucker could haul arse but was by far the crappiest vehicle I ever experienced.

My first car was an 02 Grand Am GT coupe and I loved it

Granted, it was my first car, so I'm probably biased but it had good pickup, excellent speakers and a nice interior.

Bring it back with the Trans Am, GTO, and G8. Leave the rest in the past.

Good point, they make the best truck on the road. Those and Ford trucks. How the frick is Chrysler/Dodge still in business? Everything they make is absolute shite.

My late uncle used to drive one of these back in the '70s:

It wasn't always like that though. The Pontiac Grand Am was considered one of the best built vehicles in its market segment back in the late 90's to early 00's.

GM saw the market pivoting towards truck/SUV sales and has completely neglected cars until recently.

Buick is/was the best selling brand in China which I believe is why their cars seem to be the highest quality of any GM brand.

Probably the same for every domestic. There is a ton of profit in trucks/suv's.
I see folks all the time saying "it's 10K off sticker" and think that is a good deal.
