The G8 was a legit nice car.
Nice rear-wheel drive car that was made by Holden in Australia.

I learned to drive in my grandparents '86 Parisienne.
I learned to drive in my Dad's '69 Executive. That car was a tank with a 400 c.i. engine. My Mom later had a '78 Grand Le Mans with a 305 c.i. engine that ran like a spooked cat.

Back in the early 70's I had a 65 Gran Prix. Long and sleek. Just recently I had a Pontiac Vibe. Was a good car. 2005 with less than 90,000 miles but it got flooded. Still had full coverage on it. Insurance paid me $4800. Used that and bought a 2013 Ford Edge. Love this car.

I believe the G8 was remodeled as the Chevy SS. 2017 will be the last year for the SS, unfortunately.

Correct on all accounts...
The G8 and the SS are some bad arse cars. Also, the Camero based off a shortened version of the same chassis at the G8, SS and the Australian Holden.

They really failed with the SS design. Now that I've read this, it makes sense as they are similar. I think the dated Pontiac looks better than the current SS does though, sadly.

Good looking car until they fricked it up with those shitty tires and rims.
