They uncovered some issues in the substructure that has the project on hold until engineering figures it out. I drive it often and all lanes/sections are open and being used so not sure what/ where the issue is.

It sucks driving that every goddamn morning and feeling it tear my vehicle to shite. They need to fix that fricking thing like yesterday. It’s been over a year.

I heard it has something to do with the new exit they're building off I-10. That got delayed so it affected the resurfacing. The sad part is that the road in its current condition really isn't any worse than it was before.

Hell no. Bent my trailer frame hauling skid steer yesterday. My damn helper didn’t even bother to tell me until I was on Nicholson

That's really great. If some hard-working Baton Rouge road construction superintendent or foreman were to get injured, I just don't know what I would do with myself- especially with inflation and the pandemic and all.

No six months. They stripped the asphalt literally the week before LSU's first home football game last year.
