I disagree. My most vocal critics can’t say it.

Oh ok. I don’t have much experience with people with autism.

People that can think past the level of a normal toddler don’t need to explicitly acknowledge a universally agreed to truth. I don’t declare the sky blue before starting every conversation either

I didn't real the whole thread, I just jumped back to page 13-14 or so. The first advice I saw you give was basically invest in an index fund and then it was 10 other life advice things like don't watch TV or change jobs if you aren't making enough. In comparison to the other guy that actually got some praise for his advice because he actually gave financial advice and not a life coach. Forgive me if I don't believe that you've made people millions off that type of advice. Maybe you have, I don't know, I'm not trying to put you down, just my two cents of why you weren't getting the praise you thought you deserved.

Mingo is anal retentive. He lives his life by lists other people compile and has fixations he cant escape from.

I found a video clip of him and his mom cooking.

It hilarious to me that you posted margin call of all movies in thread largely about people complaining that housing is too expensive

It’s what the scene teaches. The scene isn’t about housing. The movie as a whole is.

You spend every moment you are awake making shite up on this website. You went as far as looking up a yearbook from 1986 from a high school in Shreveport in order to try to do so… and failed

And you don’t even have enough shame to disappear for a while. You are mentally unwell, and I truly feel sorry for you. I hope you can finally get the help you need

I didn’t say that. You’re assuming that. They got their money off other advice. But until someone can admit they might have a spending problem, they never leave the starting line.

You have to walk before you can run.

Also, although I’m not a huge Star Wars fan because they butchered the sequels, the line that in order for one to learn, they must unlearn what they already learned. Something like that. I thought that was very profound.

It’s true. Off the type of advice and teaching that I haven’t mentioned yet. Baby steps first You can’t just jump from multiplication tables to calculus.

Oh it’s my delivery and saying truths you don’t want to hear.

Nothing to do with your delivery and everything to do with your inability to “listen”. You ignored what I said and are waiting to hear one singular answer that validates your beliefs.

About your truck, sounds like you want a new truck and not that you need a new truck. There is a difference when you are trying to build wealth.

You couldn’t be further from the truth. I want to drive this sucker into the ground if it’s financially feasible.

quote:

You said something about your parents being well off and more frugal than you? That could be part of your solution, yes?

Yes. If I am more frugal and scrape together another $100 a month, that nets me 1200 a year I could invest. I think their ability to build wealth was predicated more on the ability to buy a 2000 square foot house on a decent side of town for $80,000. And a new midsize truck could be had for $8,000.

Finally! Now we can move on.

What’s wrong with your truck?

No I didn’t. You just didn’t like my delivery.

They also don’t say that it maybe part of their issue. That’s what I’m trying to get people to admit. One person got close. Said his parents were more frugal than he is

This is the point. You are wanting to hear one singular answer. I have a spreadsheet and I use it to budget literally every dollar I spend. I don’t budget the cents, I simply round up what I spend to the nearest dollar. I always round up.

Yes, maybe the $5 I spent at the used bookstore on a DVD could be saved. Maybe I didn’t really need that soda when I got gas. The $20 a month I piss away on that isn’t the difference between the generational wealth my parents built and where I am currently sitting.

You incorrectly assumed I wanted a new truck. Hell no. I don’t splurge on bigger TVs. I’m not a gamer, so I don’t need the PS5, new monitor, fancy gaming chair. I already told you I don’t eat out much at all.

Life is tough, and I’m doing my best to manage and try to find a way to get ahead while still being able to maintain a lifestyle that won’t have me going crazy.

I have zero credit card debt. No vehicle payment. Only debt is the mortgage I pay.

You’re a smart guy, deduce from that information what you want…

Please. Let’s move on.

What is wrong with your truck?

Maybe I can help you avoid a larger expense?

I hesitate to remind you how many times I have asked and offered my help.

Ill be back in a few hours. Give you time to post it.
