A reality star is president of the most powerful country in the history of the Earth, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say a Joe can win parish president.

Nah. I'd be a little more creative. You're just retarded for posting your personal email on here. Make one for TD for frick's sake.

Really? That was about 13 years ago. I was elected to a runoff and lost with 40 something % of the votes.
Being 1 of 6 candidates, the youngest candidate by like 20 years, etc.. I wouldn't say I got "killed".

Everything sounds great except for the Bukake part. If you can leave that out, then I will look forward to whatever you send me.

We are talking about parish council, not congress
I guess it depends on where you are at. I know some people really love their little slice of the kingdom.

As an average Joe who took on his local entrenched school board member and won, it definitely can be done. Get a list of "chronic voters" from your register of voters office and start there. This will be people who have voted in at least 3 of the last 5 elections. Hammer them with mail pieces. Shake every hand you can at as many local functions as you can make. Going door to door is a pain, but most older voters appreciate talking to the candidate face to face. Signs don't vote, but they do help to keep your name fresh in voters minds. Im on my 3rd and final term and these were the keys to my wins. Good luck

100% impossible in Jefferson Parish.

City council? Just have a name. If your dad owned a big business that people loved, you can win.
