I'm baffled that people are mad that they linked him to his dad. His dad put BR in the national spotlight and children always get linked to their "famous" parents. Ex: Landrieu's son when he got the DWI

Sterling gonna Sterling.

It’s what he does. It’s generational.

I'm baffled as well, and it's not like Cameron was unknown to the public either.

He was paraded around the media as this face of innocence who tragically lost his father. Some of the pics have been posted in the thread. Hell, I even remember this board complimenting the kid for how well he composed himself throughout the whole circus.

It's laughable to believe the connection should be ignored.

My heart breaks for the Sterling family. They have endured tragedy after tragedy over the last two years and had to deal with a merciless community every step of the way.

These were regular people, living regular lives. Now everything bad that happens with them is a trending topic. How many have stopped and helped in anyway to assist this family? Or have you just shared news of their latest tragedy and discussed it with the world? They lost Alton, and have since lost several other males to gun violence and death — now this. Not to mention next week is the hearing for Blane Salamoni to get his job back. That’s a lot to deal with. That the world sits and watches and discusses.

My prayers are consistently with the Sterling family. Their life, the worlds entertainment. It’s a sad situation all the way around. #KeepPushing #LetsBuild

A long rambling statement with no mention of why they’re back in the news? Classic.

Not that I think this is what happened but any chance the boys mama is looking to get her hands on some of that GFM money?

Do you really think they still have that money? You know atleast half of that went to their legal team and the other half went on frivolous things

Yea, I've really lost lots of respect for him due to his SJW bullcrap.

Jesus. Leonard is a good kid. He doesn't get in trouble and he was an all time great Tiger. You're insane. Clearly he doesn't know anything about Alton Sterling but that doesn't mean I've lost respect for Leonard. He's an athlete. His opinions on these issues mean nothing.

No it doesn't, they are just your publicity machine

They have endured tragedy after tragedy over the last two years

Most of which has been due to their own actions

Well... that's what happens when you rape 8 year old children

It’s a sad situation

The only bit of truth... however I do not feel one bit of sadness for St. Sterling's family, I feel a mountain of sadness for an 8 year old who was violated and will never fully get their childhood back...
