(Mustang is a Pony car not a Muscle car, a muscle car was a two door family car with a large engine. Pony cars are Camaros, Stangs, Challengers, and the similar sized cars. Muscle cars were like the Chevelle, Road Runner, Torino, GTO)

Stock muscle cars are faster in memory than reality. Cars today have a lot of power. Small four cylinders now have the HP output of base V-8s then. Hell the 1980 Corvette only had 155HP. The chevy Suburban is faster than a Chevelle 454 and other muscle and pony cars.
