My wife has TTP. 9 people out of 1 million get it. it can come and go. Hers has come 5 times in 8 years. The first time she was hospitalized, it took 7 weeks to get her home. 5 of those weeks were spent at Shands, in Gainesville with a world class TTP specialist that looks like Dr. Phil, and hates LSU.
Limited research is showing that this med can cause TTP, or make hers come back. None for me, thanks. TTP, and eating rat poison are similar in what they do to your body.

Last night when I first noticed it was getting traction it’s already been attacked from the route of tonic water.
Even though modern tonic water doesn’t have therapeutic quantities anymore.
Yeah, somebody posted numbers in a forum (dunno if it was here or elsewhere), so I did some cipherin' and it looks like about 20 liters of tonic for one (malarial) dose. (dunno what people are claiming about anti-corona dosages).
I'm still figuring on upping the G&T for a while. Hell, maybe using up the limes will stop this Corona stuff. Can't hurt to try.

Don’t fricking hoard chloroquine. When this begins happening, the sick peoples who actually need it to save their life won’t be able to get it!
Furthermore, the poorly made Chinese knock-offs will begin flooding the market.

I wonder what the results would be if I cross referenced the people down voting and griping in this thread to the ones posting in the thread talking about buying peen hardening drugs online.

Texas Board of Pharmacy has issued emergency orders making such prescriptions unlawful to fill.

1 TITLE 22 EXAMINING BOARDS 2 PART 15 TEXAS STATE BOARD OF PHARMACY 3 CHAPTER 291 PHARMACIES 4 SUBCHAPTER A ALL CLASSES OF PHARMACIES 5 §291.30. Medication Limitations. 6 No prescription or medication order for chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine, mefloquine, or 7 azithromycin may be dispensed or distributed unless all the following apply: 8 (a) the prescription or medication order bears a written diagnosis from the prescriber consistent 9 with the evidence for its use; 10 (b) the prescription or medication order is limited to no more than a fourteen (14) day supply, 11 unless the patient was previously established on the medication prior to the effective date of this 12 rule; and 13 (c) no refills may be permitted unless a new prescription or medication order is furnished. So if you have a patient with severe c.o.p.d., 65 years old that has tested positive for corona, you dont think as a last resort that they could try taking the medicine? If the doctor thinks that they could possibly die, you dont see nothing from nothing leaves nothing?

Wouldn’t this be the kind of situation you’d want to have it available for, though? That’s exactly why a lot of us are objecting to healthy people hoarding it “just in case”.
Eta: Assuming that the doctor you’re referencing is recommending/prescribing. If the patient isn’t sick enough to see a doctor, I have no idea why they’d need the meds anyway.

Guess I touched a nerve with this one over my comment about some people ordering the little blue pills online.

Looks like the cost of Chloroquine Phosphate for fish has gone up 20X what it usually costs. I use to buy it by the kilo for about $225...

You totally misunderstood my point. The patient you describe is the one I’m protecting the drug supply for. Not the healthy people walking in and trying to buy it all for themselves.

Trump said absolutely nothing about the effects of long term use of chloroquine. He said the drug is showing great promise in treating COVID-19, and he was dead right - Dumbass!
